There are approximately 300 pubs within the Branch area, covering the full range of styles
from rural village inns to busy town centre establishments. If you are a CAMRA member and you want to record your experiences of visiting one of the pubs in our area, you can do so online via the CAMRA Beer Scoring Scheme. Or if you prefer, anyone can send us an email telling us in more about your experiences (good or bad) in visiting any of our pubs.
Details of the scheme and the pubs currently accredited can be found by clicking on this link. Four of the pubs in our area are listed in the CAMRA's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors. They are the Paul Pry in Worcester (currently closed), the Bush in Worcester St Johns, the Monkey House (Cider House) in Defford and the Three Kings in Hanley Castle. Further details can be found on the National Inventory website. The National Inventory is CAMRA's pioneering effort to identify and protect the most important historic pub interiors in the country. It has been part of the campaign's mission for the last 35 years to not only save real ale but also Britain's rich heritage of pubs. If you want to be kept regularly up to date on the changes to the status
of the pubs on CAMRA's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors, then
please join the email mailing list. Bulletins are sent out each
month. |
